woah :) that means a lot to me, honestly! The reason as to why I have this blog is for me to express my “gayness” and not have to worry about how un-manly I will sound. But I genuinely Thank You :)  

Taking Andrew to Winter Formal was the best choice I ever made. I was anxious about taking him because I didn’t know how other students would react to a gay couple attending Winter Formal. Also, I’ve never had a boyfriend so I was new to everything! 

I decided to bring Andrew since it was my senior year and wanted to make our night special. And when we arrived to the dance, he was really nervous and remained silent for a while. He didn’t want to dance nor did he want to walk around. 

However, after half an hour he surprised me by slow dancing with me :) which was astonishing to me because Andrew is not the type of guy who would do something like that. And as gay as it sounds, my heart was warm and beating fast. Holding him in my arms while slow dancing in front of all my peers was magical.

After 3 years I finally came out to my sister last night and the conversation went like this:

Me: Do you like Andrew? (Andrew is my boyfriend) 

Her: Yeah he’s cool, but kinda quiet. 

Me: Oh yeah he is! You’re not dumb though right? 

Her: No..why? 

Me: Well he’s my boyfriend. 

Her: I know. (smiling) 

This whole time I thought my sister was clueless about Andrew and I dating -_- and on top of that! She’s known about my gayness. 

Well at least I don’t have to hide anymore from her :)
